Apple Introduce New Shortcut's For iOS Device Users
At this Apple year's developers conference (WWDC 2018), the Apple company unveiled its new Shortcuts app which is basically an automation app which allows users to build custom shortcuts to iOS devices. It can also be bundled with Siri or run from your Apple device. Shortcut is an advanced version of the current Workflow app.

To get started on Shortcuts, follow the steps below:
Pre-requisites:
- iPhone/iPad running iOS 12 beta
- Working internet connection
1. Open the Workflow app, tap on create new Workflow
2. Swipe over the Actions option to drag and drop the Actions workflow you have created
3. Tap on Done to save your changes
How to create custom commands for Siri Shortcuts:
1. Go to Settings, head to Siri & Search option
2. Look for your recently created Workflow. You can find that either under the Recommended list or under More Shortcuts > Workflow
3. Record your personal command or phrase
4. To launch the custom created command, simply say 'Hey Siri' followed by the command
How to use the deep Siri integration with Shortcuts app based on the WWDC 2018 keynote:
Let's say, you want to assign a command to start the navigation to your home, start playing music, turn up the brightness and turn on Do Not Disturb.
1. Open the Shortcuts app and tap on Create new shortcuts
2. Using the Search bar at the bottom of the app, search for the action you want to assign to the shortcut.
Here we want to add Maps as an action, so search for 'Open app' action and tap on Choose to select the app
3. Select the app you want to open, so in this case select Google Maps
4. Next search for 'Music' action and add it to the shortcut
5. Now, search Brightness and adjust the brightness level, followed by Do Not Disturb option
6. After adding all the actions to the shortcut, tap on Done
7. Now you will be redirected to 'Add to Siri' screen
8. Record the command for your shortcut
9. You can also assign your own icon to the shortcut for future reference
10. Now open Siri and say the command for your shortcut
